HIV and Chronic Hepatitis

We build capacity and sensitize children and youth on health, rights, and other preventable viral illnesses like HIV and chronic hepatitis. Mtoto Jitambue Foundation with the support of other partners is working on the following:

• Promoting the vaccines for hepatitis A and hepatitis B.
• Reducing the stigma associated with positive HIV status to the abused children and youth in schools
• Promoting and raising awareness on voluntary counselling and testing services in schools for abused and non-abused youth and children.
• Promoting the use of male and female condoms to prevent Hepatitis as well as HIV infection among the youth
• Promoting and raising awareness of voluntary counselling and testing services for Hepatitis as well as HIV infection
